Salvador Camarena
Senior Credit Manager
Salvador has vast experience in working with various agriculture operations. He has a passion for agriculture and helping others navigate the process of obtaining and seeking financing. He has first-hand experience with cattle ranching by helping his grandfather on his ranch and recently obtaining an operation of his own. Salvador graduated from the University of Arizona (U of A) with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management and a minor in General Business Administration. While at the U of A, he was a member of MANRRS. An organization that promotes academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences. Salvador worked for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency for nine years. He started his Agricultural Lending career in Oregon, where he became a Farm Loan Officer—later, returning to Arizona, where he eventually became a Farm Loan Manager. Through his professional experience, he has worked with a variety of producers from livestock, row crops, vegetables, orchards, vineyards, and other specialty crops. He has helped producers obtain a range of loans, including annual operating loans, term loans for equipment and infrastructure, and real estate loans for land purchases. He also facilitated participation loans with other lenders and guaranteed loans.
