Charity May is the founder of a regenerative systems practice that guides leaders in the art of sustainable future-making through the application of regenerative principles in organizational design, strategy and implementation.
In addition to her practice, Charity is a Director at Turner Impact Capital, a social impact investment firm committed to building socially enriching infrastructure in communities across the U.S. In her role, she is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, analyzing, negotiating and executing of investment opportunities and management of fund finances for the Turner-Agassi Education Facilities Funds.
Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, she was an Associate at KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM), the investment banking platform of KeyBank, N.A. in Cleveland, OH. At KBCM, Charity was responsible for the underwriting, analysis, structuring and monitoring of Leveraged Finance transactions for middle market companies across multiple industries. She first began at KBCM as an investment banking analyst in the Utilities, Power and Renewable Energy division, where she was involved in the acquisition and debt financing of renewable energy projects.
As a founding team member of Soffli, Charity actively contributes to the holistic skincare content brand focused on unique habits, products, mindfulness, nutrition and personal experiences.
Charity holds a certification in permaculture design - an approach of systems-level observation, analysis, and participation that leads to creating smarter, more sustainable ways of working with natural systems to renew landscapes and the communities they connect with.
Charity received her B.S. in Management from the Weatherhead School of Management and B.A. in International Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Originally from Ohio, she currently enjoys exploring new ventures in Los Angeles with her husband, Kevin May.
